My relationships with my patients is probably the most rewarding part of being a cardiologist in the area where I grew up. I enjoy getting to know them, understanding their concerns, and making improvements in their lives - sometimes right away. It's exciting to be in cardiology as new technology - stents, diagnostics and more - is changing and improving the way we can care for our patients.
