About Ahmed Elisa, MD

Dr. Elisa always had a passion for health equity and patient-centered care. He is interested in asthma, eczema, other skin conditions, and food allergies. He graduated from the University of Jordan and completed a fellowship in combined Adult and Pediatric Allergy and Clinical Immunology at Henry Ford Health in Detroit, Michigan. During his residency at Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo, Michigan, he was elected as one of the chief residents. Dr. Elisa's dedication to providing the best care for his patients is evident in his commitment to providing state of art medicine, where the patient's health outcome is always his top priority. He is double board-certified by The American Board of Allergy and Immunology (ABAI) and the American Board of Pediatrics (ABP), which further demonstrates his expertise in the field. He is also a Fellow of the American Academy of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (AAAAI), the American College of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology (ACAAI) and the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP), which is a recognition of his outstanding contributions to the field.
