About Vinh Nguyen, DO

Vinh D. Nguyen, DO is the current Director of Cardiac Rehab and a former Chief of Cardiology at St. David's South Austin Medical Center. Dr. Nguyen received both his bachelor's degree and medical degree from Michigan State University in East Lansing, MI. He continued his residency training in Internal Medicine at William Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak, MI. Dr. Nguyen completed his Cardiology fellowship at the Tulane University School of Medicine in New Orleans, LA, where he served as Chief Fellow. Dr. Nguyen is board certified in Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine by the American Board of Internal Medicine and also board certified in Nuclear Cardiology by the Certification Board of Nuclear Cardiology. He is a member of the Travis County Medical Society and the American College of Cardiology. Dr. Nguyen is fluent in English and Vietnamese.
